À propos
The Essex and Hawthorne School Community have come together to sponsor a Syrian refugee family. We have been working in the two schools to raise awareness amongst parents, students, and teachers. We are working to create a supportive network of individuals and communities to help the sponsored family settle and integrate into life in Toronto. In addition, we have signed onto the 1,000 Schools project and are connected to a network of Toronto area schools that are also mobilizing to sponsor refugee families.
